Can’t say enough great things about this place. The cocktails are inventive and delicious. The food is outstanding- there’s so much thought and effort put into their dishes. We love the tartare, the burger, the whipped ricotta but honestly we’ve been back dozens of times and have never had a bad or even a “meh” meal. Chef Andrew and his team are providing great service and a special dining experience in Parkville.
The first thing you notice at Acre is its beautiful décor — warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. I started at the bar while waiting for the rest of my group, and the bartender was friendly and helpful in recommending a lovely glass of wine. The menu isn’t extensive, but every dish sounds so tempting it’s hard to choose. The service was excellent — Miranda took great care of us and had a wonderful sense of humor that made the evening even more enjoyable. The pork chop was absolutely outstanding — highly recommended! Overall, we loved both the food and the atmosphere at Acre. It’s definitely a place we’ll be returning to for future dinners.
Gotta say been here several times and it’s in my backyard. The place is not 5 stars. Called in a reservations they didn’t have it, happily sat at bar. First encounter was good but then no one cares or services. No utensils when served. No service until paying. Food was good but not sure it’s worth the premium price. Other options are way more the full experience. Fast forward, gave Acre another try and had a Wonderful experience and service. Note to self, sometimes restaurants are just a little off. I had the Scottish salmon which was moist and delicious. We shared the roasted carrots which were recommended by the server and they were wonderful with toasted pistachios on top. We also enjoyed the roasted half chicken. Ended the evening with a blueberry crème brûlée, which was divine.
I went to Acre for the first time and did their kitchen counter Chefs experience and it was absolutely fantastic!!! Their salmon was undeniably the best salmon I’ve ever had. Perfect crispness and light flakey mild flavor. Great service, wonderful experience.
Came in by myself for a nice meal and sat at the bar. Sergio was fantastic, very friendly and accommodating and had great wine and cocktail recommendations. The food was SO GOOD. I did the grazing plate for $65 and I'm wishing I lived closer so I could have the 30 layer (or however many) lasagna on a regular basis. The tritip was wonderful and Im still thinking about that dessert. Definitely will be back next time Im in KC.
We absolutely loved our Chef Counter Experience at Acre! They curated a five course meal plus dessert for us. If you enjoy wine, I recommend choosing to include the wine pairings with each dish. This was my first time at Acre and I will most definitely be returning! They exceeded my expectations for accommodating my dietary restriction (lactose intolerance) and created one of the best fine dining experiences I've ever had.
Thank you Acre for yet another breathtaking experience. Tonight was our first time trying the Chefs Counter experience and it was hand down worth every penny plus more! Great atmosphere, super beautiful and humble staff and of course mind blowing food. We truly thank you and appreciate you bringing such a unique dining experience to Kansas City and will be back very soon! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Delicious. Not cheap but worth the cost. Would go back. Farm fresh food. Very flavorful. Nice setup. Dressier than we expected with higher per item cost but great for a special occasion or if you have a larger food budget.
Wow… just wow!! Pair the tasting menu with the wine samples. From the smokey appetizers to the juicy main courses and savory desserts — it was all curated to be fine as helllllll. I haven’t had such a well crafted tasting menu in a long while. It was also so great getting to talk to the chefs behind the counter. Server Johnathan, chef brandon, and sous chef Maddi were immaculate. They paid attention to everything!! Well worth the bill. Make reservations ahead of time!
From start to finish, the food was absolutely amazing! We had appetizers, main courses, and dessert. The meat was cooked perfectly-juicy, flavorful and tender. Presentation of the dishes was wonderful and our server, Paige, did an excellent job. Chef Longres even took time to introduce himself and wish us a Happy Anniversary. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!
